Sebastião Vasconcelos refuses to take medicine or even eat

Sebastiano Vasconcelosdied in July 2013, is seen in the rerun of Sand women, in Vale a Pena Ver de Novo, on Globo. In the plot, the actor played Floriano Araújo, father of the twins Ruth and Raquel, played by Gloria Pires.

Second UOLthe artist faced some health problems after being fired from TV Globo in 2004. Before leaving the network, he starred in soap operas such as I bring miracles AND The clone. His last work at Globo dates back to 2004, in the remake of Cabocla. Subsequently, his contract was not renewed and he fell into depression.

Sebastião’s health was reportedly very fragile and he refused to take medicine or even eat Vilma Costahis wife, in an interview with UOL.

“This is practically death for him, he has lost interest in living. He really felt the pinch when Globo didn’t renew his contract”, he has declared.

Despite leaving Globo, Sebastião continued to star in Record TV soap operas, such as The paths of the heart (2007) e The mutants in (2008), his last work on television. “He did a little work here, a little work there, but it wasn’t the same.”said the widow.

After several hospitalizations, he died on July 15, 2013, in Rio de Janeiro, at the age of 86. The artist died after suffering septic shock and cardiorespiratory arrest.
