Poonam Pandey, model, actress and influencer, passed away at the age of 32 this Friday, February 2.
The news of his death became known on his official Instagram profile, where a message was published. According to the Independent newspaper, the writing comes from the artist’s working group.
“The morning is difficult for us. “It is with deep sadness that we inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer,” it read.
“Every living being who ever came in contact with her was received with pure love and kindness,” they also stated.
“In this moment of pain, we ask for privacy while remembering her with love for all we shared,” they concluded.
Nikita Sharma, the celebrity’s manager, confirmed what happened in a statement to the NDTV portal:
“Beloved social media personality Poonam Pandey tragically passed away this morning due to cervical cancer, leaving the entertainment industry in ‘shock’ and mourning”.
“Her indomitable spirit in the midst of her health battle was truly remarkable,” he said of his client.
So far, the family has not commented on the matter. The website India Today reported, citing a close friend of the star, that the sister did not return their calls.
Poonam Pandey’s last public appearance
On the aforementioned digital platform, Poonam Pandey made her last post four days ago on January 29.
He bragged about attending a party in the western Indian state of Goa. In the clip he uploaded, he is seen boarding a boat.
“Black and white: the yin and yang that balance my life,” he noted in the video’s description, referring to his outfit.

Hailing from Kanpur, India, Poonam Pandey moved to Mumbai, the entertainment capital of the country, when she made her Bollywood debut with the 2013 film ‘Nasha (Intoxication).
In the romance thriller, she played the lead role, ‘Anita’, a drama teacher who enters into a controversial romantic relationship with a student.
Pandey also appeared in films like ‘Love is Poison’, ‘Malini & Co’ and ‘The Journey of Karma’ while developing her modeling career.
He most recently appeared in the first season of the reality show ‘Lock Upp’, in which celebrities were held in prison and forced to perform different tasks to gain their freedom.
