The ex-fiance of one of the sisters of Michael Jackson robbed the estate of the singer

On the eve of the 13th anniversary of the death of Michael Jackson, details of a new trial related to the name of the pop icon became known. The Estate of Michael Jackson, set up to manage the singer’s estate and oversee his posthumous income, has filed a lawsuit against the ex-fiance of one of Michael’s sisters, Jeffrey Phillips.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the man lived for days at the singer’s estate, Carolwood House, and after his departure, several of Michael’s personal belongings were missing from the house. Among them are Jackson’s iPhone, his driver’s license, bottles of prescription pills inside, a few items from the dressing room, Michael’s handwritten notes, and his briefcase filled with personal and business papers. Phillips also brought camcorders, computers, and hard drives. Manor officials claim that the man even stole the pajamas that Michael wore in the last hours before his death, and the resuscitation tube that paramedics used in an attempt to save the life of the king of pop.

The man has not yet responded to the charges against Jeffrey Phillips on June 24.

Recall that Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009, he was 50 years old. The official reason was an overdose of propofol, which the singer took as a sleeping pill as prescribed by his personal doctor, Conrad Murray. The pop star is survived by three children: son Michael Jackson Jr. (born 1997), daughter Paris Jackson (born 1998) and son Blanket (born 2002). Elder Michael and Paris were born in the artist’s marriage to nurse Debbie Rowe, the youngest son was born to a surrogate mother, whose name is unknown.
