The businessman Thor the Baptist stated that the lawsuit he filed on Tuesday the 27th was not necessarily motivated by the attacks he received due to his physical appearance. “The images of me with less hair had been circulating on the Internet for some time. Behind some of the actions carried out there were therefore other intentions, which will not go unpunished”, wrote the entrepreneur. According to him, photos from the first “birthday of the month” of the baby, who was also named Thor, would be used to create engagement on social media.
“These measures are in response to the inappropriate use of your photo and image, which goes against what is established in the Statute on Children and Adolescents (ECA),” reads an excerpt from the statement. The entrepreneur cited articles 17 and 18 of the statute, which establish respectively the “protection of the image” of the child and the “protection of dignity and respect”.
“I am determined to take all appropriate measures so that my son’s rights are respected and his image and childhood are protected from any abuse,” he concluded.
