The first husband of 40-year-old Britney Spears, Jason Alexander, reminded himself in early June, breaking into the territory of the star’s mansion a few hours before her sensational wedding to Sam Asgari. The man behaved inappropriately and threatened to disrupt the celebration, simultaneously filming a live broadcast on the phone. Alexander was quickly calmed down by the guards, and he himself went to the police station. Now he is facing litigation.
At a two-hour preliminary hearing on Monday, Ventura County Judge David R. Worley ruled that there was enough evidence against Jason Alexander to file a case, according to the Associated Press. The 40-year-old man is charged with violating the boundaries of private property, vandalism and beatings. According to court records, he pleaded not guilty to any of the charges. However, Britney has already received a three-year injunction against the approach of the former.

Also during the preliminary hearing, new details of the incident surfaced. According to Rolling Stone, Britney’s security guard Richard N. Ubeler claims that Alexander was seen at Spears’ house in late May and a day before the wedding, which means he was preparing in advance. When asked to leave the territory, he allegedly shouted out the name of the singer. Also, when Alexander entered the house, he tried to break into the star’s bedroom, which was locked. In addition, according to Deputy Sheriff Jose Torres, the man was later found with a Gerber folding knife, which he, apparently, was going to use, but did not have time.
The anniversary stressed that Spears was extremely depressed by the incident and even asked to be left alone – she briefly left the house to air out, and only after that returned to the celebration. Ventura County detective Dylan Foley clarified that the singer was not alone, but with her husband Sam Asgari. According to him, she panicked, cried and trembled from stress.

Alexander’s lawyer Sandra Bisignani claims that her client did not want to scare or hurt Britney’s feelings, but was only going to talk to her. However, according to Page Six, Jason Alexander is now behind bars until the circumstances are fully clarified. The next court hearing will take place on July 12.
Note that Jason Alexander was married to Britney for only 55 hours back in 2004. They spontaneously got engaged in Las Vegas at night and rushed off to meet the dawn in a green limousine. Looks like the romance is over.
Britney Spears and Sam Asgari tied the knot on June 9th at a new luxury villa in Townhouse Oaks, California. The newlyweds invited only 60 people to the event, among which many world celebrities appeared, including Madonna, Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton, Drew Barrymore and Donatella Versace, who designed Britney’s wedding dress.
