Shakira captivated her followers with a small free concert in iconic Time Square in New York on the evening of March 26th, an event held as part of activities for the release of their new album ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’.
Although thousands of fans gathered at the iconic venue, her millions of followers around the world were able to enjoy it through the singer’s and ViX’s social networks.
Shakira Teases ‘Women No Longer Cry’
The huge screen opened to reveal the singer on a platform which she slowly lowered onto the stage as she performed her smash hit ‘Hips Don’t Lie’.

Shakira said it was “incredible” to perform in Time Square and thanked “for all the love I’ve been given this week since the release of ‘Las Mujeres No Ya Lloran’.”
She continued with a medley of ‘Te Felicito’ and ‘TQG’, songs she sang alone since Rauw Alejandro and Karol G were not present.
