Romeo Santos resurfaces and explodes amid rumors of hospitalization for alleged heart attack

The health of Romeo Santos was called into question last weekend when several media outlets reported an alleged emergency hospitalization of the singer due to an alleged heart attack.

Did Romeo Santos have a heart attack?

According to various media outlets such as El Universal, rumors have it that the so-called “King of Bachata” supposedly suffered a heart attack while practicing at home on March 30.

Although no one from her work team had come forward to confirm or deny the information and to the dismay of her fans, journalist Mandy Fridmann assured social networks that it was fake news.

“We’ve reached out to his team and they’ve confirmed he’s healthy and ready for more music,” he posted on Instagram on March 30.

Romeo Santos refuses hospitalization

It wasn’t until March 31 that Romero Santos reappeared on his official social networks, where he blasted rumors about his health condition.

Through a powerful message, the 42-year-old singer rebuked the spread of fake news about his health.

“You don’t have the strength, let alone the wisdom, to hurt me. If you keep thinking so much about how to destroy me, you might go into cardiac arrest. May God rebuke him,” he wrote.

In the brief statement, the “Indecent Proposal” singer attributed the fame to an alleged boycott against his upcoming tour with the group with which he gained worldwide acclaim, Aventura.

“If you think they’re going to refund the tour tickets because of this fake news, it’s even grosser than I thought,” he noted.
