“I’m gagged,” the actress said in a video posted to Instagram Stories; she accumulates around 96 thousand reais in fines and she says she was forced by a Portuguese judge
This Wednesday 3 Luana Piovani revealed on her Instagram profile that the Portuguese court ruled in favor of her ex-husband, the surfer Peter Scooby, in a lawsuit he filed. “My lawyer came to me today telling me that the ‘gag sentence’ had been issued in Portugal”, began the actress, in a video published in stories.
The decision prevents Luana, under penalty of paying compensation, from speaking about her ex publicly on the internet. Luana used social media to vent and expose Scooby’s behavior as a father. On one occasion, she accused the surfer of not wanting to pay her children’s full support. Married from 2013 to 2019, they have three children together: Dom, 12, and twins Bem and Liz, 8.
“Since I was found guilty, there are fines for me talking about the parent, since I can’t talk about the parent on the internet anymore. I can’t burn his film, like I have to burn his film, right?” Luana joked. “He does some really brilliant things. All we have to do is Google him and see the wonderful things there are about him on the Internet, including his ‘girl’ friends and everything,” the actress continued.
Luana says she has already accumulated “six or seven” fines worth 2.5 thousand euros, for a total of around 96 thousand reais. “This leaves me holding my ass. I don’t have that money to give to the Portuguese government because I’m telling the truth on the Internet. So what do I do? I take all my money out of my account, I’m left penniless — which is nice, because now dad will pay my bills — and I will live with a side job,” Luana said.
The actress also said she felt disrespected and coerced during a hearing by the Portuguese judges involved in the case. “I was completely seized by panic, nervousness and anger,” Luana said, saying that she intends to appeal to the higher courts. “Here we go to the European Court of Human Rights. The issue is that we have to pay the lawyer’s fees and the court fees. And it’s difficult, because you spend money to be able to protect yourself and, if you don’t, t There is money, you can’t protect yourself,” he said.
Luana also commented on the decision of her eldest son, Dom, to return to Brazil to live with Pedro Scooby. She the actress lives in the Cascais region, Portugal, where she moved in 2019 with her then husband. “Of course I made the deal that Dom would go to Brazil. He won, along with all the other forces. And I have another family to take care of. I have the mental health of the other two children, mine, that of my parents … So the best thing was to let them realize their dream of a good life with their dad,” he said.
