Ezra Miller starred in last year’s blockbuster The Flash persona non grata in Hollywood. The subject of several lawsuits for assault and battery, the 31-year-old actor has already seen his role in the third installment of Fantastic Beasts significantly reduced due to his legal troubles.
Although Ezra Miller has since begun rehabilitation, the seriousness of his actions still cost him dearly. Thus, the production of the animated series Invincible decided to do without his services in the voice casting of the superhero program.
Careful replacement
Since March 28, the date of the broadcast of the second part of the second season of the series on Prime Video, it is now the American dubbing actor Eric Bauza who lends his voice to the mad scientist in the original version of DA Sinclair.
This character was voiced by Ezra Miller in several episodes in the first season. It was changed carefully, without any kind of announcement. The change of artist was noticed by Internet users with the last credits of the series. Neither the producer of the program nor the representatives of the performer react to this eviction.
Also banished from the DC Universe
Adapted from the eponymous comic by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead), Invincible is a parody of the superhero world. The series features a powerful teenager ready to take over from his father: the iconic Omni-Man. But behind his protective image, the latter hides a dark secret that his son is about to discover…
In addition to this casting change, Ezra Miller was also removed from the role of The Flash. It’s not a dismissal, however, as the DC Comics license is the subject of a reboot orchestrated by James Gunn ( Guardians of the Galaxy ). All the artists of DC heroes – Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, etc. – It will change accordingly!
The animated series Invincible is now available exclusively on Prime Video.
