Mani Rêgo, an entrepreneur, also told the story of the beginning of his love story with the app’s driver

I cried all the time because I missed him […] He brought our story to the program. Tell our story. He is grateful for our relationship and I am very proud of Davi,” continued Mani Rêgo.
The two, who met through a mutual friend, had spent no more than two days apart from each other. Now, 99 days after giving birth, the entrepreneur says the feeling is nostalgia. “A movie started playing in my mind. Remembering how it all started, everything we experienced and what life was like here without you, gives me a mix of feelings.”
In a video published in two parts on Instagram, Mani opened up about the beginning of her relationship with Davi.
“I met Davi in the hospital. In a kiosk in front of the military hospital and he was one of my customers. We didn’t look each other in the eyes, because he worked in the kitchen. Orders were made via WhatsApp. He ordered and we gave it to him delivered. I enlarged his photo and said, ‘Kitten,’ and called a mutual friend of ours and asked him if he had a girlfriend.”
The mutual friend soon called David. The two met and started talking. However, when Mani found out the boy’s age, she thought of leaving him. He is 21 years younger than her.
“I found out he was much younger than I imagined and then I didn’t want him anymore. I knew he was young, but not that young. At that first moment I didn’t want him,” she explained. However, David was insistent. “‘Get to know me first, I’m very responsible.’ He said that and I said, ‘Whoa.’ And then we agreed to hang out.”
They soon began dating and sharing a roof together. As well as working at the snack stand every day. “He IS that man who will never be on the couch and you in the kitchen. He is joy. He makes the house happy. Wherever he goes, he lifts everyone up.”
