The boy, 20 years old, was with a friend and was recording content for the social network when the accident occurred. According to the police report, the victim’s colleague said that he was shooting some videos of Diego inside a water tank, which was floating in the dam.
However, during the recording, the musician panicked, saying that he was afraid of dying, and after that, he fell into the water and started struggling.
Rescue attempt
The man also said that he tried to save Diego, but he was struggling a lot, so he had to free him and swim towards the bank of the dam, where he asked for help, calling the firefighters. The team tried to save the victim and after 30 minutes found the influencer’s body. The police registered the case as an accidental death.
