“I said I wouldn’t cry, because I think he has already transcended what I feel. I bought him because I was always alone and I always dreamed of having a Golden. It was a dream of mine, because I knew that he was affectionate, that he was a companion , but I didn’t know that it would give me something more, because Joca was much more for me”, said the tutor.
João Fantazzini explained that he will move to Sinop, in Mato Grosso, for a job offer. But the change would have happened only because the club would have offered him a home, where he would have had room to grow Joca freely.
The dog had received a veterinary certificate stating that it could withstand being on a plane for two and a half hours. However, with the wrong destination, Joca spent almost eight hours on the road.
“I don’t know what to do, because Gol didn’t contact me. Only that day did the president of Gol call me to apologize. I said he had nothing to do with it, because whoever killed Joca was the agent. They didn’t give me any support , the only support was giving a snack to whoever was with me at the time,” said João, recalling that he buried Joca without the company’s support.
At the end of the interview, Ana Maria tried to give some advice to João. She spoke about her experience of him, having already lost other pets.
“They told me, ‘There will be someone else who will come and give you affection’. You will say ‘no’. And I know that feeling, it’s impossible for you to think about it. But believe me, you will keep that friend on your side and you will never forget Joca,” he said.
