Wendy Guevara was the special guest at Madonna’s third concert in Mexico City as part of her ‘Celebration Tour’. However, the influencer had a run-in with actor Juan Pablo Medina minutes before going on stage.
On April 24, a day after the show, “La Perdida” told in an interview with Adela Micha what happened, saying that in the conversation the actor wanted to hit his manager, Joel Echeverría.
“My friend Randall and I went to the bathroom, then he (Juan Pablo Medina) was with other people who were next to us on the other side, he got separated from them, so they went to my house and Joel says (Wendy’s manager ) who told them “this is Wendy’s place” (And the actor replied) “It’s better for me… Wendy blah blah blah'”.
Guevara pointed out that a few minutes later Medina came up to them to apologize: “Then, she was very nice. She had an outburst I don’t know, sir, and then she said ” sorry i got carried away I’m very nervous.”
Juan Pablo Medina admits his mistake
On the evening of April 26, the actor stood before the media to acknowledge that he had behaved badly and, although he did not justify himself, he gave his own version.
“It was relaxing for me to arrive and all I wanted was to find my places. Unfortunately I got to a place and it wasn’t my place, but I didn’t want to be in anyone else’s shoes. It was quite a journey, I was disappointed and my behavior was unacceptable.“, he told the press, journalist Eden Dorantes reported.
Juan Pablo Medina apologized to the influencer and admitted that he was her follower.
“Luckily I was able to speak to Joel and Wendy later to apologize because the truth is damning. I’m not like that, it’s never happened to mebut he hit me and I apologized to him.”
“I’m a fan of Wendy, I follow her, I think it’s great that she got on stage (with Madonna). Wendy is incredible and the truth is I was wrong.”

After the incident went public, Juan Pablo Medina received “hate” from Wendi Guevara’s fans and acknowledged that he should have been more patient.
“I’m not going to make excuses, my attitude is reprehensible and I have to understand that it’s my problem too I need to have more patience with the situation that is happening (…) You have to learn from your mistakes and understand that if it happens to you you have to take responsibility”, he said.
