In a message on Instagram, Daniels expressed his sadness at the passing of his partner of more than three decades, saying his departure was unexpected.
“It is with immense sadness and a heart broken into a million pieces that I leave this publication to announce the passing of my beloved husband and life partner Ian Gelder. Ian was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in December and yesterday he died at 1:07 pm,” the actor also mentioned.
