Tony Ramos was rushed to hospital this Thursday (16th) to undergo emergency surgery. Check out the updated status of the actor, who is in a hospital in Rio de Janeiro:




Tony Ramos , with whom he was on the air last year ‘Land and Passion’was admitted this Thursday (16th) to Samaritan Hospital in Rio de Janeiro. The actor, who has completed 60 years of career, he hadn’t felt well since the morning and even deleted the recordings. In the hospital network the artist underwent a delicate surgery removal of a subdural hematoma drainage – intracranial bleeding.

The surgery is over and Tony is “stable”

According to g1, the family highlighted that the operation was successful and ended around 7.30pm this Thursday (16th). According to the medical report, Tony’s health condition is considered stable. “The Samaritano Botafogo Hospital informs that the actor Tony Ramos underwent surgery today to drain the subdural hematoma. The patient’s condition is stable”, reads the note sent by the Samaritano press office.

The procedure was guided by the neurosurgeon Paulo Niemeyer Filho, which “stopped” Ramos’ bleeding. The clot was gradually drained and Tony is now resting. There were no further updates until the end of this article.

Tony Ramos has a 60-year career

Tony Ramos was born on August 25, 1948 in Arapongas, Paraná, and started on TV Tupi in 1969, in the soap opera “A Outra”. In the 70s he moved to TV Globo, where he consolidated his career and became one of Brazil’s most respected actors.
