Former RBD manager denies embezzlement by team: “No fraud”

Guillermo Rosas, former director of RBD, spoke about the alleged embezzlement committed against the group for the money from the “Soy Rebelde Tour”.

The businessman broke his silence after Dulce María confirmed that they found financial inconsistencies thanks to an investigation.

“Irregularities have already been detected in the first phase of the audit, but I cannot give more details. “It is not in my position to reveal this information,” he told Despierta América on May 17.

For his part, Maite Perroni’s husband, Andrés Tovar, revealed to “Ventaneando” that “there is a lack of what is said to have gone in or what the ‘tour’ has brought in profits to them (members of the group) have received”.

In December, the “influencer” known as “Chamonic” assured that the working relationship between the members of the group and Rosas ended badly because there was a fraud of more than 250 thousand dollars that he allegedly did not report.

Former RBD director confirms ‘no fraud’

Given the recent accusations, Guillermo Rosas expressed himself through a statement, which he published on his official Instagram account.

He began by admitting that his company, T6H Entertainment, along with LiveNation and Creative Artists Agency, organized the ‘Soy Rebelde Tour’, but noted:

“We specifically clarify that under no circumstances and at no time did T6H Entertainment, Guillermo Rosas, or any employee of the company divert money from ‘Soy Rebelde Tour.’ Nor was he involved in any kind of embezzlement, as some media outlets have suggested.”

The letter explained that “a first audit (‘forensic investigation’) has already been conducted by the accounting firm Citrin Cooperman in New York, which proves that there is no fraud or misuse of the funds in charge of T6H.”

For “a second confirmation”, the parties involved “decided by mutual agreement to carry out a second check with another company”, it said.

The RBD company “managed” the tour revenue

The text also stated that T6H Entertainment, headed by Guillermo Rosas, “only managed less than 10% of the total revenue from the ‘tour'”, which it used “mainly during the pre-production stage to realize” the series of presentations which RBD did.

According to what was reported, Souls Productions Inc., a company owned by Anahí, Maite Perroni, Christopher Uckermann, Dulce María and Christian Chávez, “managed the remaining revenues and funds of the ‘tour’ from the first weekend of concerts.” “

“Souls has appointed business management firm, Citrin Cooperman, to carry out this administration,” it said.

The letter announced that the singers “will also conduct audits of companies outside of T6H involved in the revenue and administration of the ‘tour’.”

“And of course T6H will cooperate as required in all these proceedings,” they said.

Finally, it was revealed that if Rosas had not spoken about this situation before, it was to “not affect” the “closing process” of the tour and also because of the bond he maintains with the singers.
