After several questions from fans, Maya Massafera decided to speak openly about her voice. This is because, since she underwent surgery to thin her voice, the influencer has not appeared speaking in public.




Now Maya Massafera is sharing details about her gender transition. Her voice, however, was one of the biggest doubts of her fans. A few months ago, the influencer underwent a delicate vocal feminization operation in Curitiba.

Therefore, the YouTuber spent 45 days without being able to speak. Then, slowly, he started communicating again. “What you ask me most is about the voice. I’m not mute, folks, I’m talking.”, Maya began.

Additionally, Maya Massafera detailed what her voice is like after surgery. “My voice is weak and hoarse. That’s why I’m saving myself from talking much. But that’s normal for someone who’s had the voice surgery I’ve had. Don’t worry, I’ll be speaking normally soon. My new normal,” she wrote .

Finally, Maya recalled experiencing an eye medical error while having this procedure performed. This was because the influencer couldn’t see and was in a lot of pain, which hindered her voice recovery. “When I was operated on, due to a medical error, my eyes had problems. […] Due to the severe pain in my eyes and the inability to see, I cried a lot and had stitches in my throat. So in a few days I will know if I will like the result or not, “she recalled.
