The group began their career in the city of Alma-Ata, where they are now casting for the main roles in a new project, which will be called “Julia”. The founder of the group, Baigali Serkebaev, speaks of his beloved city with tenderness:
I believe that Almaty is the pearl of Asia. A very cozy city with wonderful people. I want everything to be good with the environment in my native city, so that it flourishes and always surprises everyone who comes to it with its warmth, its beauty and its hospitality.
Artists from all over the CIS who have both vocal and choreographic talents will be able to take part in the casting.

The idea of creating a musical based on the songs of our group A’Studio, written and performed during its 35-year existence, arose several years ago. All these years I have been studying with interest, watching productions in world theaters in London and America, and finally the time has come when we can realize our idea, thanks to which I am sure we will ignite many new stars, talented performers who are waiting for their hours, – said Serkebaev, acting as a producer of the musical.
