Leticia Birkheuer complained about the influence of influencers on dramaturgy
Letizia Birkheuer expressed his dissatisfaction with the growing trend of prioritizing the number of influencer followers in casting selections for major television and film productions.
In a series of Instagram stories, Leticia questioned the criteria currently used to choose actors and argued that talent should be the determining factor.
“I was reading a report that said that cinema and TV are increasingly looking for actors who have a bigger following. I wonder, shouldn’t talent count right now for a producer to do a casting?“, asked the actress.
And he concluded: “In television and cinema we’ve seen people working who don’t have much talent, right? Are they there because they have a big following and there’s a lack of talent?”, churches.
