Rafael Cardoso revealed it he is far from his children, Aurora and Valentim, aged 7 and 4, the result of his fifteen-year relationship with Mari Bridi. “It’s hard to take a break like that when it comes to raising kids. I haven’t seen them in person in a year. All of this is confusing my head. I’m not here to victimize myself, I’m not a victim and I don’t want to be. it’s annoying,” he told the program Disconnect Rio, from TV Caras. She had another daughter, Helena, with psychologist Carol Ferraz.

Rafael said the “life change” due to the separation was very difficult. According to the actor, he has always actively participated in his children’s lives, “he was not an Instagram father”, and that the end of the relationship with his ex-wife has weakened everything.

When controversies arise, he says he has “lost himself”, especially due to excesses and today he takes responsibility for his actions.

“I had to accept it, discover that I am here today, calm, talking to you, in a good way, at peace with myself. I had to go through this process of accepting my compulsions and weaknesses. I committed excesses. I regret many things. I have been in a fight due to excess alcohol, drugs, medications, etc. Today I am calm because I assumed this position, not of guilt, because I don’t believe in guilt, but of responsibility for my actions.”
