Former Globo heartthrob, Marcello Antony reveals his children’s profession and salary in Portugal
The actor Marcellus Anthony he spoke about his family in an interview with the television channel Leda Nagle, on Youtube. The former heartthrob left his artistic career aside to become a real estate agent and currently lives in Portugal.
Father of three young people and stepfather of two, the famous man revealed details about the profession of his heirs. The oldest, Francis, works as a kitchen helper; already stepchildren Luca AND Louis They take care of cleaning and walking the dogs respectively.
“All my children work. I have never forced them to do anything. Here in Portugal they are worth money. It is worth one euro. Francisco works as an assistant chef in a restaurant in Lisbon. He earns 850 euros, which is the minimum wage here. And with this money he earns, pays the bills for water, electricity, gas and has money left over to live on.“Marcello said.
And he continued: “Lucas, my stepson and son, cleans American houses. He earns 80 euros per cleaning, which is about R$480. Louis, my other stepson, walks foreign dogs. He earns 40 euros.”
“They wouldn’t do it in Brazil”
Marcello Antony stressed that his children would not pursue these professions if they were in Brazil. “These are things that they wouldn’t do in Brazil. Francisco would never work as a cook’s assistant in Brazil. (…) The mentality here in Europe is different. This creates a shell in them. They are sure that they won’t clean forever, nor to be an assistant cook forever”, reported.
“Francisco told me: ‘Dad, I want to stay as a kitchen assistant for a year and a half, two, because I want to save money and take the best gastronomy course here in Europe. I want to train as a chef’. And the Lucas and the Louises are looking for a job where to live in Holland. They want to start there as couriers, delivering food by bicycle, because there is a lot of money there.”the artist said.
