Silvia Abravanel sues her ex-boyfriend’s company and claims a debt of over R$500,000

Silvia Abravanel has filed a lawsuit in São Paulo to collect a loan granted to DF Produções Artísticas LTDA, a company owned by her ex-boyfriend and compatriot Diego Faria. According to the action, currently pending in the 40th Civil Court of the Central Court of the District of São Paulo, Silvio Santos’ daughter requests payment of R$ 441,151.82, borrowed on February 6, 2021.

The lawsuit is against the producer, Jarbas Edney Alves da Silva, as Diego is called, and Luiz Roberto Blum, who is said to be the singer’s manager. The presenter, according to Luiz, had offered to “help” her then-boyfriend repay the cost of the musician’s ‘Feel the Experience’ DVD.

Of the total amount, R$ 284,000 was transferred to Luiz and R$ 157,151.82 was reserved for payment to third parties. Two days later, the contract had a reduction in value of R$ 5,385.90, meaning that the residual value became R$ 151,765.97. On February 23, 2022, he made available an additional R$ 76,000, consolidating the debt for an amount of R$ 539,079.80, divided into 36 installments of R$ 14,974.16, corrected by the IGP-M index.

According to the procedure, only the installments of September and November 2022 were paid. Given the situation, Judge Paula Velloso Rodrigues Ferreri ordered the payment of R$ 635,500.94, monetarily adjusted from July 2023. In addition, the judge ordered the payment of costs and procedural expenses, as well as legal fees, set at 10% of the value of the case.

The portal News on TV, who had access to the entire process, Luiz would have attached messages attributed to Silva. In one of them, in December 2021, the presenter asks if her compatriot doesn’t help pay her debts, and when she receives a refusal, she says: “Diego is very rich, his parents have farms, they are farmers.”

In another conversation, from January 2022, Silvia says she had to ask for a loan to repay the singer’s expenses. “A transport worth R$ 400,000 has already been made. For this I had to ask for a loan of R$ 1.5 million.”

In another conversation, days later, the presenter says she had a conversation with Silvio Santos about money. “I called [do país]because my father is not in Brazil. Tense conversation, because I had to account for 435,000 R$.”
