It was the boxer who shared, via stories on his Instagram account, the news of the birth of his daughter, who weighed “9 kg, 5 oz”.
He also posted a video in which it appears from a distance that the little girl was in a nursery and being examined by a doctor.

Just hours after revealing that they are now parents together, Andy Ruiz Jr. he finally uploaded a video on the social network in which you can see the face of his daughter with Mayeli Alonso.
In the short clip, it appears that the minor is sleeping covered with a sheet and with a white hat on her head.
“Good morning!” is read over the recording. “Angel” is another of the stickers the athlete added along with a face emoji sending a kiss.
Moments ago the boxer announced that his baby is named Leah Maya Ruiz. Likewise, she posted a snap of the ‘influencer’ carrying her.
It was on March 16 that the couple announced they were expecting their first child, after several weeks of rumours.
“Destroyer baby on the way. Thank God he is so good to us,” they noted in a series of portraits where the businesswoman showed off her bulging belly.
Alonso is the mother of two teenagers, Lupita and L’Rey, from her marriage to singer Lupillo Rivera, from whom she split in 2019.
For his part, Ruiz Jr. has four children, which he fathered in two previous relationships, one with Julie Lemus.

In March 2023, Mayeli Alonso shared how she started talking to Ruiz Jr., which eventually culminated in their romance.
“In the first week of February, he sent me a message and we started talking,” the businessman said.
“(We talk) all day and at night I tell him, because if I talk to someone (whose) background I don’t know, I’ll ask him what’s going on, since the conversations were more (raised) the tone),” he explained.
Since then, both have given each other the chance to “come out” after he reportedly already ended his union with Julie Lemús, who later accused them of being unfaithful.
