Remember what Diana’s last birthday was like

Diana’s last birthday was celebrated on July 1, 1997.

Had she not had an accident in Paris in 1997, Diana would have turned 63 on July 1. Before she died, however, the Princess celebrated her last birthday with an event, remember how it was.

According to People magazine, Diana celebrated her 36th birthday at a gala. On that occasion, the princess attended the Tate Gallery Centenary event in London, England, wearing a black dress designed by designer Jacques Azagury. In addition, Lady Di showed off her style with a diamond necklace and earrings.

Indeed, the princess was very friendly and made sure to greet all her admirers who were in the front row. She also received numerous gifts, cards and flowers.

That summer of 1997, Diana traveled with Dodi Al-Fayed, her boyfriend, and their children. They vacationed in St. Tropez and then the couple continued their journey to Paris, France. It was the following day that the princess died in a tragic car accident in a tunnel.

It is worth remembering that Lady Di was 36 years old when she died in August 1997.
