Gabriel Soto has confirmed, after weeks of rumours, that he has split from Irina Baeva after five years together, during which they were even engaged.
He posted on his Instagram account, on July 16, a statement signed by himself and the actress, who to this day continues without commenting individually on the matter.
“After many years of love, support and commitment, we have made the decision to end our relationship,” the letter reads.
They did not elaborate on the reasons for their split, but the actor’s announcement came amid speculation that his ‘Aventurera’ co-star had been unfaithful to him.

On July 18, days after admitting the incident with Irina Baeva, Gabriel Soto spread a harsh message in his stories on social networks.
“Acceptance. One day I stopped worrying about the idea that love should last a lifetime. I realized that love lasts as long as it’s supposed to last,” reads the text signed by Kevins.writer.
“Sometimes it leaves sooner than we’d like, sometimes it’s like a shooting star, sometimes it takes a while to arrive and sometimes it takes a long time to leave,” it reads.
The letter then goes on to refer to those who cheat, as is allegedly the case with the Russian in the soap opera heartthrob.
“I don’t worry about people letting me down anymore, because I’ve come to understand that this is the universe’s way of eliminating from your life what is not for you,” the reflection shows.
On July 15, before the couple’s split became known, Javier Ceriani claimed, on the show “Gossip no like”, that Baeva had allegedly “been a lover” of businessman Víctor González Herrera for “two months”.
Although she remained silent in the face of the accusation, the tycoon denied the report on Wednesday 17: “I have recently been linked with a public figure with whom I do NOT have any kind of relationship.”
So far, Soto has not made any statement about possible betrayal by his girlfriend after his divorce from Geraldine Bazan.
