Prince William’s 2023 payout as holder of the Duchy of Cornwall is surprising
The Duchy’s Integrated Annual Report for 2023 was published on Wednesday (23) and the figures are startling. That’s because the list contained the amount Prince William received in his first full year as holder of the Duchy of Cornwall.
After inheriting the title when King Charles III ascended the throne, Prince William became holder of the Duchy of Cornwall. As this, Lady Di’s son earned $30 million, approximately R$141 million for the year 2023.
It is worth remembering that King Carlos III received 30.93 million dollars in 2022 under the same title, equivalent to R$ 173.6 million.
Although Prince William has received the amount corresponding to his title, he does not have a fixed salary as a member of the royal family. This is because the Duchy of Cornwall is responsible for paying all your expenses.
