Rayssa Leal won another medal for Brazil in Olympics 2024. This Sunday afternoon (28), the “fairy” won the bronze on the skate street in Paris in an electrifying race. With this, the Maranhão native takes home her second Olympic medal, after the silver in Tokyo, in 2020.

Rayssa Leal made one of the best laps of the first heat and was in the lead, behind only the Japanese Yoshizawa. In the second lap she started with a maneuver on the handrail, but ended up slipping. Continuing decisively in the competition, unfortunately she lost her skate and preferred to keep the score of the first race, discarding the score of 34.80.
At that moment, Rayssa Leal, who was excluded from the opening party of the Olympicsfound herself in 6th place in the overall standings and the pressure only increased. A the fairy continued in an attempt to improve her score in maneuvers. In this phase, each athlete had five chances, but only the two best scores were taken into consideration.
On her first try, the teenager attempted the most difficult maneuver at the beginning, but the skateboard ended up slipping and she fell. On her second try, Rayssa broke her own record and secured an impressive score of 92.88 by perfectly executing a flipslide.
