‘We’ll appeal’: Day McCarthy’s defense reacts after Bruno Gagliasso and Giovanna Ewbank’s daughter is convicted of racism

Bruno Gagliasso AND Joanna Ewbank took to social media to celebrate the court’s favorable decision in his appeal against McCarthy Day. In 2017, when Titi was just 4 years old, the socialite called the couple’s eldest daughter a “horrible monkey” and now he receives the largest sentence in the history of Brazil for racial crimes!

“The girl is black, she has horrible straw-colored hair and a horrible black nose, and people say she’s beautiful? Then these same people come to my Instagram to criticize me for my appearance?” she said. McCarthy Day at the time against Titi.

In a text published on Instagram this Friday (23/08), Bruno Gagliasso and Giovanna Ewbank stated that “the Federal Court of Rio de Janeiro has issued an unprecedented decision condemning the influencer, author of crimes of racist insults and racismin eight years and nine months of closed prison”.

“Títi, as you know, didn’t even know he could be a victim, just like any black child. The crime came from a female eugenicist, who found the Internet the perfect environment to commit atrocious violence – here, sometimes the world seems to go backwards with attacks on minorities that grow excessively. Have we given voice to idiots?”, he asked.
