Christian Nodal has spoken publicly about the nervousness he experienced before undergoing a new cosmetic procedure.
The 25-year-old singer shared that he will once again see a specialist to continue the process of removing some of the ink from his face.
Nodal reveals concern over ‘pain’ and ‘irritation’
Through a video he posted on Instagram stories, the “Goodbye love” singer spoke about his concern on September 12.
“Today I’m also nervous because, unlike yesterday, I have a session to continue to erase my tattoos from my face,” she said.
Christian Nodal made the decision to remove his tattoos while waiting for the arrival of his daughter Inti, who he had with Cazzu.
In an interview with the newspaper El Tiempo in November 2023, he explained that the reason was that he “would like” the little girl to “know” his face more naturally.
Speaking last May with Luz García, for the “Noche de Luz” podcast, Sonoran mentioned that he had “three sessions” so far.
Hours before another meeting with a specialist, Ángela Aguilar’s husband admitted he was worried about what would happen next.
“Let’s see how we do with inflammation, irritation, pain and everything. Wish me luck, please, I love you so much,” she said.
Thanks to this appearance, it can be seen that Nodal can now see much less of the designs on his forehead, as well as the pre-Hispanic symbol of the Seri people on his cheeks.
Previously, also with Garcia, he explained that after the procedure his skin developed “some very painful sores,” in addition to “a few bags like water.”
“I wear hats, I sweat, stage lights, I don’t have time to heal, over time they’ve faded a little more,” he said.
Why did Nodal tattoo his face?
In his conversation with the presenter, Christian Nodal revealed the reason he changed his image with tattoos.
“I did it out of rebellion. I felt like they wanted to pigeonhole me, like “I’m going to be like Don Vicente (Fernandez).” “I wanted people to dislike me so they could only like my music,” he said.
There are plans that “make a lot of sense,” but right now he doesn’t want it to “look like I fell asleep and scratched all over my face.”
