Project38 years old, was taken hostage by thieves who broke into his home in the early hours of Tuesday 17. He was accompanied by his children Marieva, 4 years old, and Otto, 1 year old. The residence is located in a condominium in Cotia, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. This Thursday, 19, the musician attended the Encounter, from TV Globo, and recalled the details of the incident in a live interview with journalist Patrícia Poeta.
“I was quiet, calm, I answered everything they asked. I didn’t lie about anything because my life and the lives of my children were in danger. They were armed, they showed me the ammunition so I could see that the weapons were real,” the singer recalled. The robbers broke into his cell phone, made bank transfers and took the gold records that Projota received for his musical successes.
“Nothing is more valuable than life and that my children have not had any trauma. Imagine if my daughter had experienced something like that,” Projota reflected emotionally. He also said that the criminals recorded videos during the robbery, which they shared in real time in message groups with other criminals, mocking the fact that they were robbing a celebrity. “I’m not sure if they knew from the beginning [que era minha casa] or if they realized it when they saw me, through the records and everything,” he added.
