This Monday (23), the Court of Justice of Pernambuco decided to release Deolane Bezerra, who had been arrested as part of the same operation that led to the arrest of singer Gustavo Lima. The decision was made by Judge Eduardo Gilliod, who revoked 17 preventive arrests, including that of MC Kevin’s widow.
Lack of evidence and illegitimate bond
According to the prosecutor involved in the case, there are not enough elements to maintain the arrest of the accused. “There are no elements to file a complaint, the arrest of the accused must be immediately revoked, under penalty of illegal coercion,” he said.
The lack of evidence was crucial to the decision to override Deolane’s arrest – who recently claimed censorship in his defense – for precautionary measures.

With the new decision, Deolane Bezerra’s pretrial detention has been replaced by a series of precautionary measures that she will have to follow strictly.
