The influencer Giovanna Roque25 years old, she came to the defense of her ex-boyfriend, the funk player MC Ryan SP, 23, after an image was leaked in which he appears to attack her with a kick. The young woman is the mother of nine-month-old Zoe, the former couple’s daughter.
“Ryan is not the bad person you think he is. There was an argument in the last breakup we had. Ryan had messed up and then, that day, I lost my temper a lot, I was very nervous,” she said in a video published this Friday, the 27th.
The relationship lasted just over a year, between breakups and reconciliations. The latest separation was announced on September 12. The alleged assault occurred in April, when the couple’s daughter was three months old.
“I broke his phone, I attacked him. And then he got very nervous about these things and ended up chasing me too, because he too lost his patience. We gave the enemy an opening. This doesn’t this has never happened before”, added the influencer.
Giovanna said that since she met Ryan, she has been a victim of “people making things up,” going as far as to say that her daughter wouldn’t be a funk player. “It’s an out-of-control situation and now they’ve seen the cameras in his house. Are you aware of this? It’s an absurd persecution,” he said.
He also said that being in a situation like this “is shameful”: “To have me in a situation like this, with people seeing me as a poor thing. No guys, I’m not a poor thing. We really fought (… ) we had our privacy exposed, so does that mean Ryan can’t make a mistake even once?”
The image of the brawl was leaked by columnist Leo Dias. He claims the singer addressed the topic in a text exchange: “Tell Leo I understand him and I know it’s his job. (But) This will end my career, but I’m a child of God and I know I have made a mistake and in that video you see a guy who I’m not,” Ryan reportedly said.
After the episode, Caldi Comunicação, a press consultancy, reported that it had terminated the contract it had with the funk singer. The singer was supposed to perform at the Maringá Folia festival, in Paraná, but the show was canceled by the organization.
“As soon as the news involving artist MC Ryan SP became public, we immediately contacted his production team, who responded promptly. After careful analysis of the situation, we have decided to cancel MC Ryan SP’s performance at Maringá Folia, scheduled for this Saturday, September 28th”, reads a note published on social media.
