‘Truth on Our Side’: On World RBD Day, Group Celebrates Million-Dollar Victory Against Former Businessman Accused of Embezzlement; understand

This October 4, the day in which the first chapter of ‘Rebelde’ celebrates 20 years, three members of RBD have signed a very important statement on the legal battle against Guillermo Rosas, accused of embezzling money from the band.

This Friday (04), RBD members – Maite Perroni, Christopher von Uckermann and Christian Chávez – celebrated publicly the end of a long and exhausting legal battle against the former entrepreneur Guillermo Rosas, accused of embezzling a fortune during the lucrative Soy Rebelde Tour, held last year.

The dispute involved exorbitant amounts of money and suspicions of mismanagement of profits from the international tour, which visited countries including the United States, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia. The entrepreneur Guillermo Rosas, through his company, T6H Entertainmenthad claimed the group owed more than $10 million for tour management services. However, an audit commissioned by the members revealed a scenario of financial irregularities which led them to question the requested amount.

In January 2024, rumors that the businessman had embezzled money from the tour accounts gained strength. The situation became even more complicated when the band distanced itself from Rosasand some fans noticed strange movements on social media: Anahí, with whom he had a long-standing professional and personal relationship, stopped following the entrepreneur and even deleted the company data from his Instagram profile. In addition to her, Christopher Uckermann and Maite Perroni’s husband, Andrés Tovar, also publicly showed signs of breaking up with him.
