João’s mother complained and claimed that her son was killed by “a mistake”. “Violent land! They killed by accident, they confused the car!”, he said on social media.
And he continued: “He lived in a city where it seemed like a peaceful life with his wife Karine, he played, celebrated with his sweetness, my mourning will be eternal.”
João Rebello’s body was found in Praça da Independência, in the center of Trancoso. According to the Civil Police, the actor was alone in the car he was driving when he was shot.
