Ben Affleck has finally spoken out about Jennifer Lopez, in the midst of their current divorce after nearly two years of marriage.
Rumors of a split between the actors started last May. In August, TMZ reported that the singer filed for legal separation in a Los Angeles court.
Since then both have remained secretive about what happened in their marriage. However, the actress was the first to say she was “thrilled” to “be single”.

Months after his split from Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck surprised by mentioning her in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.
This happened after host Nischelle Turner asked him about the movie ‘Unstoppable’, which his ex is producing and starring in.
First of all, he drew a comparison between the project in question and the feature film ‘Small Things Like These’, which he also produced.
“‘Unstoppable’ is a very different film than that, but in a way it’s rooted in the passion of really talented artists,” he said.
“Billy Goldenberg and Jennifer [López] and Don Cheadle and Jharrel [Jerome]and Bobby Cannavale, they were all very passionate about this story,” he added.
Focusing briefly on the cast of the story, the Hollywood heartthrob couldn’t help but, unexpectedly, flatter the “On the Floor” performer.
“Jennifer is spectacular,” she said, referring to her work playing Judy Robles, the mother of legendary wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg.
In early September, López began promoting this film, which Affleck had completely ignored until now, apparently due to the personal situation between the two.
He assured in an Instagram post on Saturday 7 that representing this character “has been one of the great honors of my life”.

Ben Affleck’s unexpected comment about Jennifer Lopez comes just days after it was revealed he may be considering giving himself another shot at love.
“He hasn’t given up on relationships and finally feels ready to move on and start dating again,” a source told the Daily Mail on Oct. 25.
According to the insider, the “Armageddon” star “is not going to get involved in anything serious” until the dissolution of his union with the “Bronx Diva” is finalized.
For his part, an “insider” revealed to In Touch that the duo are reaching agreements on the assets they acquired as husband and wife: “They didn’t have a prenuptial agreement, which complicates things.”
