‘Punch on the nose’ and ‘kick in the head’: before dying the apostle Rina suffered serious accusations of violence from his ex-wife and stepson

Rinaldo Luiz de Seixas Pereira, better known as the apostle Rina, died this Sunday (17 years old) in a motorcycle accident. Five months before he died, the pastor faced public allegations of domestic violence from his wife, gospel singer Denise Seixas.

Denise obtained a precautionary measure against Rina after reporting him for personal injury, psychological violence, threats, insults and defamation. In a statement to the Civil Police he denounced various types of attacks over the years. In one of the situations, he was even punched in the nose.

After the publication of images in which Rina claims her wife is “completely crazy”, Denise says she was forced to record videos denying her husband was an abuser. The recordings, however, did not convince the public, who pointed out that she could have been reading a text.

The lack of effectiveness of the videos has provoked a new attack. Rina was accused of throwing a chair at his wife, who managed to dodge it and was not injured.

Another episode of violence allegedly occurred with Rina who demanded sexual relations with his wife. The pastor allegedly stated that the woman could not “stay away from bed” as she had not had sexual intercourse for a month. On another occasion, the apostle asked to speak to the pastor and said that this would be the “last day,” indicating the end of the “deadline” for having sexual relations with her husband again.

In the last months of her marriage, Denise also points out that she was left without her own social networks and without access to financial resources.
