In an interview with CARAS Brasil, singer Buchecha recalls his artistic career and shares his dream come true at the age of 49

In August, at the age of 49, Buchecha graduated with a degree in Digital Marketing. Going back to school has always been a latent desire in the singer’s heart, since at the age of 12 he had to cancel his studies to be able to work and help around the house. According to him, his mother worked alone in two foster homes to support him and his siblings.
“I have completed the Digital Marketing course and I am very happy to complete my studies. It was an old wish. I stopped studying at 12 to work and, finally, this dream has come true”celebrate. “I started a postgraduate course in Communication, in the EAD (distance learning) format, because now I can’t do it face-to-face or mixed. You can never have too much knowledge!”adds the artist.
Attending college after age 40 can be quite challenging for several reasons. Lack of time due to work and disposition is among them. But Buchecha united forces not to be discouraged and moved forward. “I started university at the beginning of the pandemic, with all that uncertainty, fear and difficulty in finding ways to fill my free time. Then, I realized that you can make lemonade with a lemon. I took advantage of the opportunity”, speaks.
The celebrity also sends a special message to those who dream of attending university, but are discouraged or find it impossible due to their age. “I say it’s never too late to start over. Studying means evolving, having the desire to grow”sign.
When asked if he works in the area, the Rio native points out: “Indeed, digital marketing is present in most people’s lives; what happens is that, sometimes, we don’t realize how necessary it is in modern times. I have made good use of this advantage, including strengthening relationships with fans and new artists.”
Buchecha is the father of Julie and of Cee Jayfruits of marriage with Rosana Sousa. He talks about the importance of being a good example for his heirs and the legacy he wants to leave for his children. “I believe that children follow examples and give less value to words, so, in this sense, they are proud of me; just as I am very proud of them too”strengthens. “In my career I have little to teach them, they are much more capable than I was at their age. Finally, I believe I add a lot to their life as a good citizen and to the example they have from their mother.” and of the father, honest and united”, he corrects.

Earlier this month, Buchecha released the video for his new song, Sinônimos, created in collaboration with singer Julia Smith, which is having great success. “For the most recent project, I created a promotion on the nearby network, where I received several videos of new artists singing songs by the duo (Claudinho & Buchecha). My team made the selection and, finally, we chose a voice from launch the feat. I finished publishing the song Sinônimos on digital platforms, in collaboration with the singer Júlia Smith”explains.
Music is part of Buchecha’s life and he does not intend to give it up, but he confesses that he has thought about giving up his artistic career. “We always think about ‘hanging up our boots.’ I had a retirement in 2002, but I got over that phase and, thank God, continued my journeyoh,” says the artist.
