Combs’ prison Thanksgiving dinner will be a far cry from the luxury he’s used to
Sean “Diddy” Combs presumably he will receive a feast of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches Thanksgiving in prison. At the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, where the music mogul is being held detained on charges of extortion, sex trafficking and transportation for the purpose of prostitutionthe holiday will be anything but luxurious, just like your birthday.
According to the Thanksgiving menu obtained by People, breakfast starts at 6 a.m. with fruit, cereal and pastries. The 11 a.m. lunch will feature roasted turkey or sweet and sour tofu, accompanied by traditional sides such as mashed potatoes, mixed greens, cranberry sauce, gravy, rolls and assorted Christmas pies.
Thanksgiving dinner, served after the head count at 4 p.m., will be simpler: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chips, whole-grain bread and fruit.
Combs remains in prison on $50 million bail
Combs’ legal team continues to push for his release. On Nov. 8, they filed a motion arguing that the prosecution’s case is “weak” and suggested that some allegations stem from a “decade-long consensual relationship.”
