You didn’t see this one coming. Neither did Miriam Margolyes.
Miriam Margolyesthe actress from ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ and ‘The Age of Incense’, among others, has revealed on the podcast ‘I’ve got news for you (I have news for you)’ the bad time that happened on the set of ‘The End of Days’ because of Arnold Scharzeneggerhis co-star.
“He farted in my faceMargolyes said of Arnold Schwarzenegger. “He’s a cocky guy and he doesn’t give a damn. On top of that, he’s a Republican. Dislike.” Added the actress.
“Now I know why you cry, but it’s something I can never do” – Terminator 2
Margolyes also left us one of those phrases that define the morality of a human being: “I fart too, of course. But I don’t fart in people’s faces.“
“I was playing Satan’s sister and he was killing me so he had me in a position where I couldn’t escape and laying on the ground. And he just farted,” Margolyes continued. “He did it on purpose, right in my face“.
How did the actress know that the attack on her dignity was on purpose? Did Arnold tell her any of the most iconic phrases of her laughing after her? Something like: “This is the best thing in life: Crush enemies, see them destroyed and hear the lament of their women.”
Or maybe it was Margolyes who provoked him with the famous line from ‘Commando’: “Blow off some steam, Bennet.“.
We will never know, because the moment occurred in one of the film’s breaks and was not recorded on camera. What is certain is that Margolyes is still resentful. “I have not forgiven him“.
‘The End of Days’ was directed by Peter Hyams and stars Schwarzenegger as an ex-cop searching for Satan before he can bring back the Antichrist. So Arnold may have just been trying his hardest to save humanity.. Perhaps too strongly.
