The broadcaster already plans to replace the presenter’s Sunday program
Rodrigo Faro exits, Tom Cavalcante enters. At least that’s what Record executives imagine for their Sundays so far.
If current plans are maintained, “Acerte ou Caia”, the comedian’s program which has been very successful with the public, is expected to become part of a new attraction led by him. The idea is to return with “Tom’s Show”, but not only based on funny sketches.
The plan is to do a succession of scenes, mixing talk shows and comedy. The broadcaster’s afternoons would thus be in Tom’s hands until the handover to the Brazilian championship, which would be followed by “Domingo Espetacular” and immediately after a round table led by Cleber Machado.
“Domingo Record”, by Rachel Sheherazade, is still in doubt. There are those who argue that it should become a program without a host, with its own services.
In recent weeks comedians have begun to be put to the test by the broadcaster. The idea is to use some of them in Tom’s new program.
