In an interview with CARAS Brasil, Antonio Calloni talks about maturity and shares the desire to continue working with ‘real actors’
This Friday, 6, Antonio Calloni he turns 63 and much of his age is dedicated to the Brazilian arts. In an interview with CARAS Brazilthe actor reflects on his career and criticizes the casting of influencers for soap operas: “I find it shameful“, he declares.
Always in a good mood, Antonio Calloni reiterates that he is very satisfied with the current moment of his life and jokes that this phase corresponds to the age celebrated this Friday: “I am 63 years old, I have the body of 63, the head of 63, the spirit of 63 and the health of 63, that is, everything is as normal as possible. I am happy in life! These are the expectations. I will continue to invent my life in best possible way”, declares.
The actor analyzes the transformations that have occurred in his life over the years and confesses that maturity brings with it many lessons. Among these, Calloni underlines that he has greater self-awareness, which for him is a source of joy.
“Maturity brings the advantage of realizing your true dimension, that is, what is the dimension of my sensitivity, my intelligence, my talent, my love. So I understand this dimension better. And look, I confess to you that I am very happy to this measure that I have achieved. Maturity, among other things, brings this benefit, a better understanding of your life”, confess.
‘WHAT I’M INTERESTED IN ARE GREAT ACTORS’
With a life dedicated to art, Antonio Calloni opens his heart when talking about his career. The actor opens up about the current audiovisual scenario and gives his opinion on the casting of digital influencers in some jobs.
“My career has always been wonderful. From the beginning, with great awards, criticism and public reception, and I intend to continue like this and working with real actors, preferably. Not counting the number of followers, I find it shameful. person You can have a lot of followers and be a great actor and you can have no followers and be a great actor too. What interests me are great actors.” states.
Calloni talks about the next projects of his career: “I’m always waiting for new things. Now what I can guarantee is a beautiful book I’m writing called ‘A Boy After,’ I think I’ll publish it in 2025 or 2026. I’m very excited about this project.”
