Thalí García is mourning the death of her ex-husband and father of her daughter Natalia, Gabriel Romero.
It was the actress herself who announced her death on December 8 through a post on her Instagram account.
“Telling you I love you is not enough. “You are, were and always will be half of my heart,” she wrote to accompany a vintage photo of the two.
“Gabriel Romero, fly high, my ‘Chapito’!” Your children, your boyfriend and I will honor you for the rest of our lives,” he added.
Although he reported this news on Sunday, in an obituary he posted on the social network’s stories, it is stated that he died on November 21.
What happened to Thalí García’s ex-husband?
So far, Thalí García has not revealed Gabriel Romero’s cause of death. However, he shared a letter that could provide clues as to what happened.
“They told me I might ‘never be able to find you again.’ “They swore they could take you away from us, but they didn’t consider that love is the most powerful force on the entire planet,” he said.
“It took forests, mountains, dragons, meadows that were much bigger for me not to find you,” he added.
And he continued: “They thought they would extinguish you, but they only increased the passion with which I would seek you. They didn’t know that maybe they could erase a smile, but never your laughter, which is immortal.”
The model also assured that “there is no human power” that “could stop me from bringing you back to your home.”
As I promised to find you and I kept it, I assure you that I will do everything in my power so that our princess grows up healthy and happy, remembering the best of you every day,” he noted.
To complete this message, García dedicated other words of love to Romero, whom he called his “angel in heaven.”
“You are, were, and always will be my greatest weakness. “We will not soon see each other, but I will choose you again a thousand times, in all future lives,” he said.
“Your family and friends love you madly. Fly high like you always liked! Rest in peace, Chapito,” he concluded.
The performer, who appeared in El Señor De Los Cielos, which you can see here on ViX, was 23 when she married ‘Gabo’, as she called him, in 2014.
They were best friends since childhood and grew up in Sonora. They broke up in early 2016, she said according to People en Español.
