Wanessa opens up about health issues; singer reveals diagnosis while investigating sleep issues




Wanessa Camargo41 years old, revealed, this Thursday (12), that he has received a new medical diagnosis: anxiety. In an interview with Whothe singer said she decided to get help because of her difficulty sleeping.

What were the symptoms?

The artist says he decided to go to the doctor due to breathing difficulties during the night. He underwent tests believing he was suffering from apnea (a disorder that causes pauses in breathing during sleep), but discovered that the diagnosis was different.

“When I looked online for symptoms, I saw that many people were experiencing the same thing. I thought I had sleep apnea, because I stopped breathing. It gave me a horrible feeling, I couldn’t sleep anymore. I could only sleep at 7 am morning. People don’t sleep well and wake up exhausted, this will create a problem in their life.”he explained.

“I went back to see what was happening. With the polysomnography exam I found out that I was sleeping well and that my breathing was awake. I found out that it had to do with anxiety and that I didn’t have apnea. I stopped breathing due to anxiety. This raised an alarm”he recalled.

What precautions is the singer taking?

Vanessa reported that he currently feels better. “In my case, I had to continue working on stress management, nutrition and more confidence… This has ignited a spiritual side in me. I’m already improving a lot and I can sleep well”he said.

Strength after rejection

The artist also revealed that he needed time to assimilate everything he experienced Big Brother Brazil 24. “At first I thought, ‘I can’t believe I’m going through this.’ But then I learned something, to trust that things always work out for the best, so that you grow and evolve. Time proves it. At the beginning it was so” a horrible thing, but I walked away strengthened and understood why I had lived here, why it was like this and what I learned from it”he mused.
