Mitsubishi begins pre-sales of 2025 Triton; see prices

Mitsubishi’s mid-size pickup, the new Triton will begin reaching owners in January 2025

THE Mitsubishi announced last Monday (9) the start of pre-sales of the Triton, previously called L200. Completely revamped, the mid-size pickup is now available at 129 dealerships across Brazil and the first units will begin to be delivered to owners next month.

Produced in Catalão (GO), the pick-up features new features, such as structural reinforcements, a new 2.4 engine with more power and a new suspension configuration. Additionally, he received more standard items.

For starters, the Triton adopts a larger frame with a reasonable amount of high-strength steel. Therefore the structure has 60% more bending stiffness and 40% more torsional stiffness.

Additionally, the architecture (called Mega Chassis) is larger. There are 13 centimeters more wheelbase (3.13 m), 2 cm more length (5.36 m) and another 5 cm more width (1.93 m). From the previous series, the pick-up retains the six-speed manual gearbox and the automatic one, the latter supplied by Aisin. But both have received new calibrations.
