This Tuesday the 17th Selton Mello celebrated the preselection of I’m still herefrom Walter Sallesfor the 2025 Oscar in the Best International Film category.
The actor shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the production with fans Fernanda Torres. In one of the photos they appear giving a kiss. The clicks were made by Valentina Herszageas the actor explained – he also said he started filming in extreme pain after breaking his shoulder in an accident.
“We are on the shortlist for the Oscar. That day I was destroyed, I had a bandage on my right shoulder, a guard on my left wrist, I fell off my bike right in my garage. I had a lot of blows to my head and lo and behold, I broke his right shoulder and left wrist the day before filming began”, remembered.
“I experienced the final stretch with a lot of pain, heavy meds to deal with, physiotherapy and tests, I also broke 2 teeth, emergency surgery, the first week of filming everything damaged. Picking up the puppy was painful, carrying my daughter carrying a broken shoulder was painful, dancing was painful, living with a murdered man was painful”, said.
“I had many things in mind and here my partner Nanda makes everything lighter, what we do is beautiful we cross the screen to touch people. Valentina Herszage took these photos there is pain and a lot of love for work love wins over pain has always been like this, it will always be like this we are still here”, completed.
