Oksana Akinshina gave a rare interview in which she spoke about her acting career and about working with Danila Kozlovsky, with whom she has been credited with a romantic relationship for more than two years. In a conversation with a journalist, Akinshina admitted that on the set of Chernobyl, the team became “one family”, mentioning Danila too.
No one devotes as much time to working with artists as Danila Kozlovsky, Oksana said in an interview with Dog. It is very rare when the film set breathes like one organism, plows one hundred percent, regardless of status or position. On the set of Chernobyl, we all became a family, existed on the same common energy for a significant period of time. These are memories that are difficult to quickly forget and experience. And the heroine turned out to be directly mine, I understood her well. It is almost impossible for the artist to completely get used to the hero; it happens by the third season or the sequel of the movie that you suddenly completely get into the type of thinking of your character. And then I felt the character already at the stage of the script.
Also, to the remark of the interlocutor that she and Kozlovsky “turned out to be completely divine, on absolute chemistry, the actor-director union” she replied:
Yes, and I am very grateful to him for this role, because I lived an incredible shooting time.
Recall that the romance between Danila and Oksana was discussed in 2020, shortly before the premiere of the film “Chernobyl”, in which they both played, and Kozlovsky also acted as a director. At the same time, Kozlovsky said in an interview that he acted “disgustingly” towards his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his daughter, actress Olga Zueva, without going into details. Officially, they did not confirm the relationship, but often appear together in public.
