Born in Santos and graduated from the School of Dramatic Arts of the University of São Paulo (USP), Ney Latorraca saw his work as an actor take a turn in the theater. Alongside Marco Nanini he raced with the phenomenon for 11 years The Mystery of Irma Vapbetween 1986 and 1997.

For the newspaper he took stock of his career. “I deserve to stay quiet, I have no obligation to please others and I don’t regret anything in life,” he said.
“I mean, I regret having smoked too much, from the age of 15 to 57, and having suffered from my obsession with punctuality, I hate those who come late, I was even early at parties”, he said with good humor it was his trademark.
