Kathyan, sister of Carol Acosta ‘Killamente’, has spoken out amid the criticism and ridicule her family has received since the ‘influencer’ died aged just 27.
This Sunday, January 5, according to the portal T13, she did a “live” on her social networks in which she made some clarifications with tears in her eyes.
“We still don’t know how he died, we’re still not sure. “They’re at the morgue right now, doing tests,” he explained.
A day before, a message from an alleged “cousin” of the content creator was circulated on El Gordo y La Flaca’s Instagram profile, according to Dominican media.
“All I know is he was eating a normal dinner and he started choking, and he ran out of air, he had a seizure. I don’t know if there was something in the food or if he had taken something before eating. They took her to the hospital, but they could not save her,” the letter reads.
For her part, Kathyan revealed that there are those who do not respect her suffering: “There are people who make videos choking her and make videos laughing at the pain my family is going through.”
Killamente’s sister claims he had ‘no savings’
On the same occasion, Kathyan also lamented that people pointed out to her, as well as her loved ones, that they asked for financial support to “cover funeral expenses”.
“[Están] laughing because we made a GoFundMe to raise something to bury her and for my mother to keep something to help herself and the child,” he said.
T13 and Publimetro also report that ‘Killamente’ would not have left any money after her unexpected death.
“The only thing my sister had was fame, she had no savings, no car, no house,” the aforementioned portals quoted her as saying.
“My sister is gone and all she left behind is the pain we all have in our hearts. If you can’t say anything good, don’t say anything,” he added.
Noticias Caracol reports that Carol Acosta had two children: Reina, 4, and Legend, 2. She used to share images of her little ones on her “feed” on the digital platform.
“Killamente’s” mother is going through a bad time
In her ‘live’, Kathyan shared that her mother and her mother from ‘Killamente’ are going through a difficult situation.
“Months ago, my mother fell down the stairs holding the child with one hand. […] “He was injured and left with pain in his arm forever,” he said.
“And my mother has been doing very poorly at her job recently,” he said of the complexity of the case.
