Renata Fan posted a controversial and homophobic montage about Pabllo Vittar; the artist responds to the communicator’s speech
Pablo Vittar broke his silence and responded to the controversial post by Renata Fanhost of ‘Jogo Aberto’, on Band. The communicator published a montage in which his former television partner, Denilson, appears in two photos. In one he appears next to Fan, when he was still in Band, and in the other next to Pabllo Vittar, in Globo.
In the caption of the post, he joked: “Internet, dammit!!! I got this post about 10 times today! And I actually cried laughing!!!! I will always be on the joke team!!!!”
However, the “joke” was viewed negatively and labeled as homophobic. On the morning of this Wednesday, 15/01, the post reached the singer, who did not remain silent and responded. “Homophobia is no joke! Many people die because of this ‘trouble'”, he wrote in the comments.
What did the Band say?
Amid the controversy, Band stated that Fan’s speech does not reflect the broadcaster. “The publications made by the journalist and presenter Renata Fan on her personal Instagram profile do not reflect the opinion of the Band”they told Fábia Oliveira, columnist for Metrópoles.
