Passenger on Latam Flight 3082 falls down stairs during disembarkation and dies; discover the details of the tragic case
Marco Antonio D’Amico, aged 67, he died on Sunday night, 19/01, after feeling ill and falling down the stairs of the plane’s landing. The man was one of the passengers on board Latam flight 3082, which departed from the capital of São Paulo towards São José do Rio Preto airport, in the hinterland of São Paulo.
“The ASP Fire Fighting Section team intervened immediately and at the same time the Emergency Mobile Service (SAMU) was called. However, despite resuscitation efforts, the passenger already showed no vital signs.“, aeroportos Paulistas said in a note sent to LeoDias.
Furthermore, according to information, the man suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest and died at the scene. LATAM spoke out on the matter and lamented the tragic death of Marco, who was an auditor at the Regional Tax Office of São José do Rio Preto.

“LATAM stands in solidarity with the family of the passenger who needed medical assistance shortly after disembarking from flight LA3082 (São Paulo/Congonhas-São José do Rio Preto) on Sunday (19/1). The company requested immediate assistance from the police of the Fire Department and to the SAMU in the locality. As a consequence of what happened, flight LA3087 (São José do Rio Preto – San Paolo/Congonhas) scheduled for 7.05pm took off at 9.36pm (local time) and the necessary assistance was offered to the passengers. The company reiterates its commitment to the safety, well-being and assistance of its customers.” , the note said.
